POI's (Point Of Interest)

I have made a POI (Point Of Interest) database (in Dutch: Nuttige Punten) with 122 points to visit in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. All points are nice locations to spot aircraft.
Click on one of the links below to download the latest ZIP-file (version 8, 30.04.2007) that also includes a text file with information about the number of squadrons and types of aircraft at the different bases. NEW: Google Earth version.

These files are based on GPS coordinates found on various public Internet sites and applications. You are aloud to use the POI file only for personal use and only at your own risk. France discontinued
If you are visiting France and would like to spot some aircraft: good luck! Aircover is not supporting French POI's anymore because the French Gendarmerie has some real idiots working for them. I was send away severals times (even on public roads). They are quite rude and even refuse to speak any other language than French. Therefore I deleted France from my POI database. You will have to find your own way in France...

Frankrijk niet langer opgenomen
Als je in Frankrijk bent en vliegtuigen wilt spotten: veel succes! Aircover ondersteunt niet langer de Franse Nuttige Punten meer, omdat er diverse idioten werken bij de Franse Gendarmerie. Ik ben meerdere malen weggestuurd (zelfs op openbare wegen). Ze zijn behoorlijk onbeschoft en weigeren zelfs om een andere taal dan Frans te spreken. Daarom heb ik Frankrijk uit mijn POI overzicht verwijderd. Je zult het dus zelf moeten uitzoeken in Frankrijk...
